Advantage Injury Management Services is now providing an online course in Manual Handling awareness. Online training is of particular benefit to employers in remote locations who have difficulty accessing a professional trainer when needed, as well as those employers who have frequent changeover of staff and require manual handling awareness as part of safety induction prior to a worker commencing employment. This training can be completed by an individual worker with minimal disruption to business and reduces employee downtime. The program can be completed in approximately 45 minutes, and includes a 20 question assessment which must be passed in order to complete the training. A certificate will be provided once the training has been successfully completed.

The program is easy to use and can be accessed from any location with internet connection. The content is up to date in manual handling best practice and accurate in legislation and medical information. Remember, it is an employer’s responsibility to educate staff with regard to safe manual handling, with the aim to help prevent or minimise the risk of injury at work.
