A graduated rehabilitation plan will be developed to meet the needs of the injured worker and employer, with the view to facilitate a sustainable and successful return to work.
A suitable duties plan can sometimes be known as a return to work plan or rehabilitation plan. A suitable duties plan is a graduated rehabilitation plan, developed by an experienced injury management advisor. It is an outline of steps and restrictions required to safely return to work.
Advantage Injury Management Services can provide an ergonomic assessment to remove any risks of injury associated with workstation/desk set up.
A functional capacity evaluation is a physical assessment to determine a workers physical abilities and limitations. This information can be used to facilitate return to work recommendations or injury management advice, or to assess work readiness.
You may require a medico legal assessment if required to seek an independent opinion regarding work capacities, work readiness, or the ability to fulfill specific work roles.
An initial needs assessment is used to assess physical and vocational rehabilitation needs. Advantage Injury Management Services will provide a report and detailed rehabilitation action plan, outlining required rehabilitation and services for a safe and sustainable return to work and/or activities of daily living.

A home assessment is completed at a clients home, by our injury management advisor to provide recommendations for equipment, home modification and assistive devices such as grab rails, over toilet frames or cooking aids. We will also provide education for energy conservation and postures to manage injury and illness in the home.
